Debbie Barnes Triple Award Winning Florist has dedicated over 30 years to the industry. Starting off her career at a local florist, Debbie trained at Jacob Kramer College, Leeds, from where she qualified with top grades in her City & Guilds’ Floristry Course. After completing this course Debbie worked in various well known florists in York, developing her expertise and ideas. She then took the role as Head Florist for a leading local florist also in York. Debbies Flowers of YorkThis allowed her to put her training and qualifications into practise. Following this Debbie then worked at York Racecourse creating displays for both corporate events and major race days, followed by another seven years as Head Florist at the 'Secret Garden' on Bishopthorpe Road.
Now after over 35 years in the industry head florist Debbie and her team are committed to creating some of the most unique, beautiful flower bouquets and floral arrangements in York.
